How does Tocozulen® Ointment Work:
Tocozulen® Ointment acts based on the principle of forming an occlusion using a mixture of dermatology-proven vegetable oils (coconut, almond, shea and Babassu), which lubricates dry skin, reduces water loss and thereby increases the skin’s hydration. Furthermore, the ointment supports the skin’s epithelialisation with Vitamin A, Vitamin E, guaiazulene and calcium pantothenate.

How does Oleum Babassu Work?
Babassu oil is pressed from the seeds of Babassu palm trees (the botanical name is Orbigyaoleifera) that grow in the Amazon in South America. The seeds of the nuts that grow on these trees contain 60-70% oil. The locals have been using this oil for centuries as a natural remedy for skin problems. The oil hydrates the skin, thereby preventing it from becoming dry. It contains lauric acid, which has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. Furthermore, the oil contains tocoferol-like antioxidants, which protect the skin.
